Lake Forest College students at the 2025 Glassman Symposium...

Paul Benjamin ('28) and Amal Khan ('28) presented the results of their research at the 2025 Robert B. Glassman Memorial Brain, Mind, and Behavior Symposium. Paul is developing an ingenious adaptation of a haptic armband mobility aid originally developed and tested by Benjamin Prete (see below). Amal is working closely with lab director Frederick Prete to refine the way in which we use electronic distance sensors in haptic enhanced white canes. Congratulations to them both!
